Hunters and the Hunted

In this RP, you can play as a government agent, a citizen or a mage. The mages are being hunted by the government agency, ___(Someone else come up with this?) because they have magic and are a threat to the order of the world. The citizens could care less either way, they just want to get on with their lives. They do go to mages for healings and such, but keep it hidden.

Looks:Tall, fair skin that contrasts with her deep purple eyes and black hair. Thin and usually smiling.
Personality:Gentle and kind, she reminds others of a deer. Her eyes have given her a strange reputation, but nonetheless she heals and cures to the best of her ability.

She is in a city, yet to be named. She owns a small apothecary shop where she can be found for healings and where any hunters can find her also.

Looks: Short blond hair, green eyes, forced to wear a suit, muscular, thin, and somewhat tall, and flat, she is often confused for a boy.
Personality: She has an offbeat style when it comes to mage hunting but she gets the job done. She's earned a reputation among her co-workers but her go getem attitude and bad girl personality has gotten her in trouble with the higher ups.

She is in the Hunters HQ and is filling out paper work after a sucessful operation. She takes a break and walks to the window and watches the busy city below her.
"Ya know I'd like to meet a mage," she tells a co-worker.
Her co-worker looks at her confused.
"You meet them everyday," he said.
"I capture them, I don't meet them," she explains "I want to a meet a mage that's not like the one's we've capture. I want someone..... with fire thier eyes."
"In other words you want to meet a mage who acts like you. Good luck with that Hydra, theres no one like you."
"I'll take that as a compliment."
She turns back to the window.

"There. Your leg should heal even faster if you drink this at every meal. Leave from the back after you pay." Airan straightened, stretching after a difficult healing. She should close and go for a walk past the courthouse. She walked to the front and flipped her simple sign around, drawing the blinds and activating her security spells. Walking out, she drew her cloak tight around her to limit her influence on the world. Walking past the headquarters for who-knew-what, she felt like she was being watched. Going to a stall she knew often wanted help selling pastries, she smiled at the owner and started helping with the large crowd waiting for service.

"Well I'm starving how about you?" Hydra asked her co-worker.
"I could eat a horse," he replied "I haven't eaten anything after we caught that fire mage."
"Me nither Paladin sure takes alot out of you." (I've decided to call the orgainization Paladin if someone comes up with a better name go ahead and change it.)
"Anyway I think there's a pastry shop nearby that's supposed to be pretty good I'll pick us up something," offered Hydra.
"Thanks, hey your just trying to leave me with the paper work aren't you?"
"Your getting free food what are you complaing about?"
Hydra took the elevador down the 50 story building and walked past all of her fellow hunters. All of them were wearing suits. She personally did not like wearing one because it made her look more like a boy but what could she do.
She finally came across the pastry store and was amazed on how crowded it was.
"Man it sure is crowded here," she said to herself "Must be really good then."
Even thought it was crowded a tall black haired girl seemed to be helping people at a very fast rate. Pretty soon it was Hydra's turn. Hydra noticed that the girl had purple eyes 'that's an interesting eye color.' she thought.
"Hey sweet heart," she said to the girl "What do you think is best to eat here? I'll take of that."
In saying those words Hydra's wish was fullfilled. Though she was unawear of it, she had just met a mage.

"Hmm, I would suggest the poppy cakes or berry scones. Both are filling, and healthy." Airan glanced towards the back of the stall as a runner gave her a green slip of paper. She wrapped up 5 each of the pastries, handing them to Hydra. "$3, please." She reached mentally within herself, gathering a bit of magic to contact one of her friends. He got caught? Guess I'll have to stay low from now on. Bothersome, I know. She smiled up at Hydra, taking the money. "Next!" She called.

Personality: hyper, ditsy, loud, and can summon little creatures to help her she is also a healer

I was running away from one set of hunters "STUPID HUNTERS YOU CAN'T CATCH ME!!!!" As i was about to get away i smack into a short blond haired person "OH CRAP!!!" I said and hopped over her then ran into the pastry store There I went towards the counter and reached out with my powers to see if there were any mage's left There I sat gasping for breath waiting for the hunters to go away (she doesn't exactly know how to control her powers yet.... her parents were taken away before they could teach her) "Oh man! now I really gotten myself into trouble......" I looked in between the legs of the many customers the pastry shop had and saw the hunters who were chasing me come into the shop 'OH NO!!! I'LL BE FOUND IF I CAN'T GET OUT OF HERE!!!!!' I couldn't stand it anymore I ran. But not to the place where i normally run I ran straight for the Hunter's HQ "oh crap!!!! I'm so dead!!!"

After getting the food Hydra walked out of the pastry shop and thought 'Wow she was really nice. I can see why this place is so popular. Maybe she's a mage, ha ha ha, I crack myself up.'
Suddenly, a little kid ran into her nearly knocking the food out of her hands. She swiftly got a hold of herself as the kid ran off. (She's smooth like that.) Before she could catch her breath a bunch of hunters zoomed past again threatning her lunch. Thankfully she recovered her balence with amazing grace.
"That was really weird," she said.
Suddenly, her co-worker ran up to her.
"Hey your just in time here's your food," she said.
"There's no time for that Hanazono san," he said "There's a mage near HQ."
"What? Then how come my Orichalcum amulet didn't go off."
Orichalcum was a rare metal hunters used for detecting mages, it's also used for makeing anti-magic weapons. Hydra's twin guns with made out of it too.
Hydra grabed her chest where her amulet was supposed to be but it wasn't there. She also noticed her guns weren't on her either.
Her co-worker sighed "You forgot you equipment again didn't you?"
"Well its not like I expected a mage hunt while I was getting lunch."
"Anyway we've lost track of the mage you go get your stuff and catch up with us when we find her."
With that Hydra zoomed into HQ intent on joining the fray. That's when she saw a little girl in the lobby looking scared.
"Hey kid are lost?" she asked "Hold on a sec I'll help you find your mommy. Just let me get something ok. Oh and here this will calm your nerves."
Hydra dug through her bag and pulled out a berry scone and gave it to the girl.
"Now wait right here, I'll be right back."
Hydra quickly took the elevador up to her workstation to retrieve her weapons and amulet.

As I was gathering my things and refusing payment, a girl ran in, yelled something and ran out. I put it out of my mind and decided to see what was in that government biulding I had passed. It was a cold day, so I used a small amount of power to keep myself warm, growing a small amount of fur over my abdomen. I knew I would have to take it off eventually, but the warmth was worth it. As I passed into the building, I sensed a small tingle of magic, no more than a disease checker would have. I saw the woman I had served talking to someone, and she rushed off. I saw the small girl too, looking scared. "What is wrong, little one? Is someone chasing you?" I made a small flower grow from a seed I had in my pocket, a long thornless rose. I gave it to her, smiling.

Both lady's gave me something one gave me a scone but she was apart of the force (her powers are healing and water) he other one gave her a thorn less rose "WAIT!!" i ran after the lady who gave me the rose "hey wait up are you a mage?" I asked quietly "if you are you'd better run cause they're coming to get all mages......

Hydra rushed out of the elevador putting on her gun belt. Then she saw the little girl and the girl from the pastry shop.
"Hey I'm back kido," she said "Looks like you didn't need me. Is this your big sister or something?"
They looked nothing alike but you never know. Then her Orichalcum amulet started glowing a bright red. These two girls were mages, but they were so young and they walked right into Paladin HQ. There was no way Paladin wanted to cature these two, would they.

"I'm not worried, I have evaded the hunters for years. My powers are plants and animals, which makes it easy to fight back." When the woman who was obviously a hunter came over, I raised a small shield. "I'm not her big sister, but I enjoy helping little kids. Reminds me of my brother who died years ago." I looked down slightly. When I saw the red glow, I whipped power out to a large potted plant behind me. It grew quickly, rising behind me and growing thorns. I was ready to fight my way out if need be.

'What should I do,' Hydra thought 'These two are obvously mages but thier just kids. As a hunter it's my job to capture dangerous mages. That's right I'm supposed to catch dangerous mages not kids. What would Paladin want with kids anyway, I'm mean they walked right into our Headquaters. Well I better ignore these two and join up with the rest of my co-workers on their witch hunt.'
Hydra smiled at the two girls.
"Hey sweetheart," she said to the older girl "Can you do me a favor and get this girl back to her mommy? I would escort her myself but I'm kind of busy at the momment."
Without even getting an answer she started to walk off "Thanks kido I'll see you around. A little advice, this place is for adults only so I'd stay away from it if I were you."
Then she started to walk out of the building, ready to join her co-workers. As she left she thought about the fire in that girl's eyes.
"Guess I got my wish," she muttered.

"Adults only? I'm 17, with three months to my 18th. I.." Airan spluttered. Turning to the girl she asked gently, "Do you have parents or a place to live? If not, you can stay with me and help in my shop. I heal people using plants, and I need an assistant."

"Um..... no actually I don't have anywhere to go...... My parents were taken by Paladin and sentenced to life there....." I said to the nice lady "They haven't taken care of me since I was two....." I held up two fingers I nodded and held onto her skirt and followed her all the while my power was spiking and the water from the puddles were forming a Gaurdian of sorts (Like Glacion from pokemon)

Airan glanced at the guardian, and twisted the magic so it was hidden. I quickly took her to the shop and prepared a room for her, one that had shields to keep errant magic in. I gave er dinner then started preparing lessons on controlling her powers. It was dark but my animal power gave me excellent Night vision.

I held on to her skirt as she walked around calmly not sure of what to do. I saw the dog gaurdian following me around and picked it up looking around lost again..... "I've never been to this part of town......" I said unevenly "Mom and dad said they would take me when I had my magic under more control but they got taken away from where we lived and left me all alone....."

Meanwhile Hydra went to join the others mage hunt but when she caught up she was too late.
"Bad news Hydra we lost her," said her co-worker.
"Seriously?" said Hydra "And I ran as fast as I could."
"It's not your fault everyone messed up we lost her when we went passed the pastry shop."
"So what mage are we looking for?"
"A summoner /healer mage. According to the records she's not very experienced with magic."
"She doesn't sound like much of threat. What does this guy look like anyway?"
"She's a five year old with....."
Hydra fell over at five year old.
"A five year old? Are you serious? What the heck is Paladin doing chasing after five year olds? Were mage hunters not social service." she shouted in anger.
"Don't ask me I'm just following orders. But your right I think its weird were chasing after this girl. It says here that her parent's were also mages and were captured a few years ago. Maybe that has something to do with it."
Hydra wondered if that little girl she saw at HQ was the same one they were looking for. In that case she sercretly hoped that other kid would protect her.
Suddenly, her cell phone rang. It was the director.
"Yo what's up boss?" she asked.
"Miss. Honazono, would you meet me in my office as soon as you can?"
"Um sure no problem I be there in a sec."
She said goodbye to her co-worker and started to head back to HQ. She had a bad feeling about this.
